How is Gestalt therapy training at the first level?

So, the first stage is an educational and therapeutic group in the Gestalt approach.

This means that during the first stage of training, a greater focus of attention is directed towards exploring oneself, one's style of communication, and ways of facing one's experiences and realizing what one wants in life.

It is also an introduction to the basic concepts of Gestalt therapy, with a focus on research: how these basic principles manifest themselves in my life, how they affect my actions and the satisfaction of my needs.

This format will definitely include:

• practical group exercises,

• pair and individual work,

• psychotherapeutic mini-sessions with participants (optional),

• lectures.

It is often said that a psychotherapist works on himself, so before learning the intricacies and skills of a therapist's work (which is what the entire second stage of training will be about), in the first stage we pay more attention to ourselves.

Because how each participant builds relationships in life, what helps them, what hinders them, using the opportunity to experiment and try new things in our group.

Later, these self-awareness will help the participant in the therapist's chair.

Each meeting, the group explores a topic from Gestalt theory.

However, this research is practical, through its own living in exercises or sessions.

In general, it all starts like this: people with a desire to develop, learn, and learn (and, let me tell you, it's usually an interesting company) will get together and sit in a circle, in order to go through their own path of self-knowledge and the diversity of opportunities in the world over the course of eight meetings, and in doing so, step by step, acquire a new profession.
